A fan brought Kanye to tears during the Saint Pablo Tour after he spotted her wearing an in memoriam shirt to honor his late mother and a Runaway tattoo on her arm.
Say what you want about Kanye, but the man is human and gets vulnerable just like everyone else.
During Kanye’s concert in Miami on Saturday, he shared a very vulnerable moment with a fan who honored his mother. He spotted her in the audience wearing an In Loving Memory of Donda West shirt with his Runaway cover art tattooed on her arm. When he saw her, he couldn’t help but to smile, then proceeded to serenade her and confessed that she brought tears to his eyes.
Kanye then incorporated Krystal’s name into the song and the audience chanted her name. If that isn’t concert goals I don’t know what is. After the video went viral, mtv interviewed the lucky fan and learned that this was actually her first Kanye concert which no doubt she will remember forever. Krystal said that she got the Runaway George Condo tattoo about a year ago after Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy quickly became one of her favorites. When asked if she plans to get any more tattoos she told MTV QUOTE – “I just started college. So I plan to, when I graduate, get the Graduation bear. Something to symbolize the way [West] motivates you to do your work.” And as if it wasn’t already sweet enough that she honored Kanye’s mom on the front of her shirt, she also had Kim’s dad on the back.
