Kim Kardashian robbed of MILLIONS at gunpoint while in Paris for Fashion Week.
We’re happy to report the family is unharmed and safe after this super scary incident.
Early this morning Kim Kardashian was robbed by at least two men dressed as police officers with guns at her luxury residence in Paris, France. The concierge of the building was forced into giving the key to Kim’s rented mansion to the thieves around 2:30am local time.
Two gunman reportedly went inside and tied Kim up in the bathroom while they stole items worth at least 10 million. Included in the stolen items was a box containing jewelry worth $5.6 million and a ring worth $4.5 million. The exact amount stolen is still being determined at this time.
A spokeswoman for Kim said she was QUOTE, “Badly shaken but physically unharmed.” Her husband Kanye West abruptly ended his concert in NYC upon hearing the news. He told the audience, “I’m sorry, family emergency. I have to stop the show.”
Kim has now left France, leaving immediately on a private jet from the Paris airport. It’s still unclear if her children were with her at the time of the robbery.
Police are currently searching for five suspects, including the two who forced their way into Kim’s door. French media reports the gunman were wearing police jackets and escaped on bicycles.
The robbers seemed to know security was light on Sunday nights, at the discreet rental property, leading some to suspect this was an inside job. We can’t help but wonder- where was her bodyguard? TMZ is reporting the man often seen in photos behind Kim may have been out on the town shadowing sisters Kendall and Kourtney while the robbery took place.
Kim was in Paris for Fashion week, along with members of her family, and had attended the Givenchy show Sunday night. Kim had stayed at this no address celebrity hideout at least once in the past.
