Kim Kardashian West graces the newest cover of Billboard Magazine, where she’s making one thing clear: There are no hard feelings about Taylor Swift… really, like NONE.
So if you didn’t know, well now you know: Asking Kim about Taylor is SO YESTERDAY.
Kim Kardashian is once again playing the middle man in the ongoing Taylor/Kanye feud, but rest assured, this might just be the last time. In the most recent issue of Billboard Magazine, Kim reluctantly circled back around the topic of the never-ending infamous feud between Tay and Ye, saying QUOTE, “Ugh, do we really have to talk about Taylor Swift? I’m so over it.”
After laughing it off, she then added, “It wasn’t even about a look or anything, or to have this feud -- it was like, 'OK, here’s the truth.' Done. Let's all move on. I feel like I don't want to talk about her anymore.” Kim even admitted to Wonderland Magazine a few months back that she was, in fact, a fan of Taylor’s music and that there was never meant to be any shade.
She explained that the reason behind the leaked conversations between Taylor and Kanye via Snapchat was solely to stand up for her husband, also revealing that QUOTE, “If it were up to Kanye, it all would probably never have come out. He can handle it, he has no hard feelings. He doesn’t even really care. I just wanted to protect my husband. I saw him getting a lot of sh**.”
Ok, let’s talk this out for a sec. If ‘no hard feelings’ translates to playing his track “Famous” in Taylor’s hometown of Nashville during his Saint Pablo tour three times in a row just last week, resulting in a crowd chant of “Fuck Taylor Swift”, then yeah, I’d say there’s no hard feelings…
See? NONE. During the Nashville stop over the weekend, Kanye yelled to the arena in the beginning of the song, “I need to hear that loud in Nashville. So many people told me, 'You've got to take that line out of the song. You got to play it safe, but this is what rap music is. This is what art is. Saying how you feel. And this song is how I feel.”
Whatever you say Kanye, but now that you’ve heard all you need to from Yeezy, I’m curious to know all your thoughts on Kim claiming there was no harm meant and Kanye’s concert call-out, so get to talking right down here in the comments section, and after that, be sure to click right over here to reminisce on a few old-school Nickelodeon movies on an all new Throwback.
