You know you’re coming up in the world if the president knows who you are… Even if he has no clue what you do.
President Obama hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner this past weekend that found him face to face with Kendall Jenner.
Kendall Jenner is no stranger to paparazzi and cameras and rubbing elbows with celebs, but meeting the president? That was a first. Kendall attended the annual White House Correspondents Dinner where she posed for pictures on the red carpet, dressed in a stunning strapless Vivienne Westwood gown paired with a diamond choker. But, duh, you have to look your best when you meet the Prez.
Kendall got her chance to shake hands with President Obama before taking her seat at the dinner. Being the funny man we all know he can be, Obama asked Kendall for a small favor. She told People Magazine QUOTE “He was like, ‘Say hi to Kim and Kanye.’” Something tells me that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would definitely welcome a shout out from the president.
Obama also mentioned Kendall later in the evening during a hilarious speech in front of all of his guests. Check it out.
Yes, Mr. President, you’re definitely trending. Kendall attended the evening’s festivities on behalf of USA Today, but she’s also been known to be a strong voice for Rock the Vote, constantly urging her fans and followers to get involved with this year’s election. You go, girl.
