Kim Kardashian MEETING With President Trump At The White House For THIS Reason

Kim K will be meeting Donald Trump with her attorney Shawn Holley today. Her first priority is to lobby for a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson. She is a 63 year old woman serving life in prison without parole for a first time, nonviolent drug offense.
Kim is having this meeting in celebration of her birthday and she tweeted early this morning QUOTE, “Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today is for you”
The mom of three has advocated for Alice in recent months and has been working to get the government to grant Alice clemency, and because she was arrested for a federal crime, President Donald Trump is the only person who could grant her pardon.
Alice has spent the last 21 years behind bars on charges of conspiracy to possess cocaine, attempted possession of cocaine and money laundering.
She is also meeting with Trump’s senior advisor Jared Kushner to talk about more general prison reform.
When Kushner became Donald Trump’s senior advisor, he made prison reform his top priority. He has pushed Congress to support the First Step Act, which aims to better prepare inmates to re-enter society with job training and drug treatment programs. It would also give nonviolent offenders the option to serve the end of their sentences in halfway houses or home confinement.
After her sit down with President Trump, she will attend a dinner hosted by Ivanka and Jared and their children.
According to a source to ET, this event will not be followed by her Keeping Up with the Kardashians production crew and she will not be bringing any of her usual team aside from her lawyer.
