Taylor Swift Music Video Director SLAMS Kim Kardashian's Meeting with Trump

Taylor Swift’s music video director calls Kim K’s Trump meeting “propaganda”
Not everyone seems to be happy about Kim Kardashian’s meeting with President Trump.
Last week, the two reality TV stars met to talk about… prison reform? Yep, that’s right. Kim met with Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to discuss the case of Alice Marie Johnson. The 63-year-old has been in prison since 1996 for a first-time, nonviolent drug offense after being sentenced to life without parole. Kim has been working hard to get her out, and the meeting with Trump was the latest step in trying to release her. It must have went well, because the Trump administration granted Alice clemency on Wednesday.
While many praised Kim for taking on the case and fighting for Alice, others questioned her motives. One such person was Josephn Kahn, a music video director who’s worked with prominent artists such as Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. Joseph has directed most of Taylor’s recent music videos, including all of the ones off her newest album.
On Wednesday, he took to Twitter to slam Kim and her meeting with Trump. He wrote, QUOTE: “What Kim Kardashian has done is used her connection with Trump to free a family member and score some PR points. In return, the right wing Trump party gets to use it as an example of his liberalism and heart and not do anything else. It’s called propaganda… So the lesson here is sucking up to Trump works in our banana republic. Democracy RIP.”


But that wasn’t all. He also insinuated that the meeting was just a PR stunt to make Trump look good for the 2020 election, writing QUOTE: “If anything should be clear by now, Kim and Kanye are trying to get Trump re-elected. #DragonEnergy”

Yikes; those are some pretty harsh words, and some people are questioning why Joseph came so hard for Kim. Could it be because of his close working relationship with Taylor Swift? Possibly, considering Kim and Kanye were the cause of Taylor’s own PR disasater back in 2016.
Regardless, Kim doesn’t seem to be too bothered. She tweeted that same day about how happy she was for Alice and wrote QUOTE: “I hope to continue this important work by working together with organizations who have been fighting this fight for much longer than I have and deserve the recognition.”
