It’s been almost two months since we’ve gotten a new Taylor Swift music video and honestly that is two months too long. Tay must have known that we’d me anxious for a new vid because she just announced that we’re getting a “Delicate” music video!
Not only did we find out that a new vid is in the works but we also found out when it will be premiering! We’ll be able to watch “Delicate” on repeat by this time next week! Taylor is premiering the video during the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March 11 and if we had to wait any longer than a week we probably would internally combust.
Usually when Taylor announces a new music video she gives us an actual clip or photo from the shoot so we would know what to expect, but she ditched that tradition for this announcement.
The music video announcement came from a very simple Instagram video where Delicate was playing in the background and she unfolded a piece of paper with the information on it.
We don’t know what this means exactly, but we have a feeling the low-key announcement is setting the tone for the music video and that it will be more stripped away and calm compared to her other music videos for the Reputation album.
Tay’s previous videos have had huge blockbuster budgets and were real show-stoppers. She has gone all out on this record, but maybe this new single will show a softer side of Tay’s new era.
We don’t really know what to expect, but we DO know that we’re so excited to see what Tay and her team have come up with!
