Taylor Swift 'Delicate' Music Video DECODED

Last night Taylor Won Best female Artist of The year at the I Heart Radio Music awards AND she dropped her highly anticipated music video for one of her most loved songs on her new album Reputation: Delicate.
The video was directed by Joseph Kahn and it’s sparking a lot of conversation and has also garnered mix reviews. The video shows Taylor dancing like nobody is watching and is also symbolic of Taylor breaking free from the scrutiny of the spotlight and becoming totally invisible. It took fans no time to dissect ever part of the music video and perhaps the most obvious one is during the subway station scene where you can see track in graffiti on the wall. Delicate is track 5 on reputation.
The second Easter egg that was spotted was also in the form of graffiti. The words “Delicate” and “Reputation” were seen in the alley way on garage doors. And some of the lyrics were also spray painted on the walls like the words “echoes of your footsteps.” I know most of you are wondering if there were any hidden messages about her new boyfriend Joe Alwyn and you’ll be happy to know there was a little nod to him. When Taylor’s dancing in the alley way she passes a sign that reads “Joe’s Deli”. Could this be a stretch? Possibly, but we all know Taylor is pretty calculated when it comes to her music videos. Nothing is ever an accident.
My favorite Easter egg though is actually a throwback to her old song fearless. In the song fearless which came out in 2008 – Taylor sings And I don't know why but with you'd I dance in a storm in my best dress Fearless." And it’s pretty obvious that that’s what Taylor’s doing in this video, dancing in a storm. But it gets better because fans also uncovered this fact:
I mean come on, how dope is that!?
