She wore his initial on a chain around his neck, just like she said she would!
Okay so if you’re a diehard Swiftie, you already know that Taylor’s song Delicate off her new album Reputation is
1. A BANGER. And Two: It’s about her British boyfriend Joe Alwyn. I mean she even sings “oh damn, never seen that color blue” in reference to his eye color and sings “do the girls back home touch you like I do” meaning the girls back in England.
So when Taylor Swift dropped her first music video for Delicate, that was inspired by a Kenzo perfume ad, some fans were really confused that the video was about Taylor’s trapped life in the spotlight so she basically turns invisible and dances around a hotel. The only romantic part of the video came at the end when Taylor walks into a bar and potentially spots Joe. But we never see the guys face that she sees.
Surprisingly, Taylor dropped a second video for the song Delicate – only available on Spotify- last night and this time it was a personal vertical video of T dancing in the woods. In the video, Taylor is wearing a necklace with the letter J on it and even points to it proving that the song is in fact about Joe.
I personal love this simple, and visual second video of Delicate. I feel like Taylor made it personal, and you can tell she really is in love with Joe the way she sings this song. But I want to kick it over to you now. What are our thoughts on Taylor’s public declaration of love to Joe Alwyn in her second music video for Delicate? AND tell me what you think about the second video, I know a lot of people have strong feelings about both of the videos so I really want to know what you think, and yes I read the comments you guys. And then when you’re done with that, click right over here to see how the Weeknd shaded Selena in his new song. Thanks so much for hanging out with me here on Clevver.
