HAPPY 1989 DAY, SWIFTIES! As with the release of any Taylor Swift album, there are going to be some secret messages and Clevver News has got ‘em all just for you – ya know, in case you haven’t been able to tear yourself away from listening to the album just yet? So if you picked up a physical copy of 1989, there are secret messages hidden throughout the liner notes, and they’ve already been solved – if only world problems could have the same luck. Basically the way it works is each song on 1989 has a message that correlates with it and SPOILER ALERT, even though Taylor said this wasn’t going to be an album about love, it clearly is. And it all basically revolves around her relationship with, you guessed it, Harry Styles.

So here is the story Taylor has laid out with 1989:

“We begin our story in New York. There once was a girl known by everyone and no one. Her heart belonged to someone who couldn't stay. They loved each other recklessly. They paid the price. She danced to forget him. He drove past her street each night. She made friends and enemies. He only saw her in his dreams. Then one day he came back. Timing is a funny thing. And everyone was watching. She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything.”
Well, it looks like Taylor totally duped us all! Tricking us into thinking this album wouldn’t be about love. Sneaky, sneaky. And don’t take that as us complaining or anything because the album is PERFECTION, and we’ve been listening to it on repeat. This girl can do NO wrong you guys.
