Taylor Swift Announces 1989 Tour Concert Film & Celebrates 26th Birthday With Calvin Harris!

Taylor Swift celebrated the end of the 1989 World Tour AND her 26th birthday this weekend, so in true T-Swift fashion, she surprised US all with the gift of music. So if you’ve been having major 1989 Tour withdrawals after witnessing all the glory live during one of Taylor’s stops, you can now replay it over again as many times as you’d like… and not just in your wildest dreams.
Taylor kicked off her birthday bash and then end of an unforgettable era with the ultimate gift for her fans over the weekend. The newly 26-year-old announced the release of her 1989 World Tour LIVE concert film to be released next Sunday, December 20 on Apple Music.
She took to Twitter yesterday to thank fans for the birthday love, writing QUOTE, “Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. I have a little surprise for you. #1989WorldTourLIVE @applemusic”
The live concert experience will feature one of Taylor’s final 1989 Tour stops at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia, and takes place in front of 76,000 fans. It will show the entire performance, along with never-before-seen backstage footage, including rehearsals with some of Tay’s surprise guests throughout the tour.
And Christmas (or should we say, Swiftmas) also came early for Taylor as many of her closest pals, including boyfriend Calvin Harris and Apple exec Jimmy Iovine's son, Jamie Iovine, threw a Christmas-themed birthday party yesterday for her and Jimmy’s daughter Jessica in LA, complete with a snow hill for sledding, real penguins and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.
DJ Snake, who also made an appearance at the party, posed with Mr. and Mrs. Claus and took to his Snapchat to record a video of Calvin talking about him and Taylor’s epic photobomb…Jamie posted many photos of yesterday’s event to his Instagram, including this one of him, Tay and Calvin, writing, “I was just adopted by @calvinharris and @taylorswift mom and dad are gonna show me the good life now”
