Many only dream of posing for a magazine alongside Kendall Jenner, but ever think about posing in a magazine while Kendall Jenner is shooting you? GAME CHANGER.
It’s only been a few short months since Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid strutted their stuff in lingerie during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and their newest spread in LOVE Magazine proves that they haven’t at all lost their touch, not even in the slightest. The two besties both stripped down to lingerie and barely-there clothing for the spread, as Gigi posed topless with a pair of silk short-shorts in a black-and-white photo posted to the magazine’s Instagram account, and Kendall posed in a sheer lace bralet top and red bottoms, while holding a baseball bat and leaning on top of a car with “Boys Lie” etched onto the hood. LOVE Magazine’s Instagram account also posted a black-and-white shot of Kendall in a pinup girl style wearing the same ensemble while holding a cigarette, displaying major badassery at its finest.
And not only does Kendall completely dominate her magazine spreads, but this time around, she was also the brains behind the camera. In LOVE Mag’s “Fans Issue” out this month, Kendall was lucky enough to help choose a model to feature in the mag out of 110,000 applicants. The magazine’s editor-in-chief Katie Grand helped Kendall with the selection process when they ended up casting a pole vaulter, a dancer set to enter the Bolshoi Ballet and a passionate political activist, to name a few.
One in particular was model/actress/benchmark millennial Hari Nef, who revealed that shooting with Kendall was a total breeze, saying “I love shooting with male photographers, but at the same time I feel like I’m “modelling” for them a little bit. With female photographers, with Kendall, I didn’t feel as much pressure at all. I feel like they understand what it is to be looked at so I feel comfortable being looked at by them. It was actually really pleasant. She was intuitive.”
Kendall had nothing but great things to say about Hari as well, saying, “Hari was so cool. She turned it on and you could tell that she loves being in front of the camera – it comes naturally to her. I don’t think I’ve ever been shot by a woman around my age before, and I guess that would be more comforting for me too. She was a champ, for sure. Hari is just so freaking cool.”
But seriously, is there anything Kendall can’t do or hasn’t done?! This year seems to be shaping up real well for Kendall so far, and I have a feeling it’s only the beginning. But right now I want to know what you guys thought about Kendall and Gigi’s magazine spread and Kendall’s cool new gig! Get to talking in the comments section and be sure to subscribe.
