They’re single, ready to mingle, and likely have a line of guys out the door waiting to date them… so really, what do The Jenner sisters have to lose?
It’s only assumed that if you host a party centered around the world’s biggest dating app, you’re bound to actually take a peek inside the app at one point or another, right? While taking a break from typical Coachella festivities, Kendall and Kylie Jenner arrived in a cool desert oasis to host Winter Bumbleland, a house party with ice bars, igloos, and blizzard machines—all courtesy of the dating app Bumble.
The sisters, who are reportedly single at the moment, sat down to gush about the app, admitting that while they don’t have an app of their own, they sometimes like to take over their friends’ accounts. Kylie revealed QUOTE, “I just did that two days ago with Jordyn’s! I’m not kidding!”
Also a guest at the party was Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods, who admitted she’s new to the dating scene, but hasn’t had any luck yet. Kylie quickly reminded her that sometimes it can do good, saying that her nail artist met her now-fiancé on Bumble and that they’re getting married next week. Kendall shared her thoughts on the app, saying QUOTE, “It's fun to swipe around and see who's out there. You find people you used to know or you still know, and that's when it gets really fun. It's totally a spy situation...I won't tell them I've seen their profiles, obviously, but I think it's funny to see people's pages. All the stuff they put to say, ‘Date me.’ It's so funny.”
But as far as Kendall and Kylie using the app to date in their hectic lives, they each had their own opinion on the matter. Kendall said QUOTE, “I have never, and I probably would never. I'm the old-fashioned type. Let's meet and have a real conversation. Texting is very modern, but that's as far as I go. And I want to meet you first.” Kylie, on the other hand revealed, “I want to try it out. I want to tell someone to meet me at the yogurt shop. I mean, maybe I won't get out of the car, maybe I'll just stalk them and see who shows up, but I'll try it!”
So these girls may not yet add ‘swiping right’ to their list of hobbies, but if you’re looking for ways to amp up your dating profile, leave it to the pros… Kendall talked about which photos are best to include on a dating profile, saying, “I think you need the innocent one. You start with that one, and then you can add something more promiscuous. Then an activity one to show what you're into.” Kylie agreed, adding, “You need a body shot. Show us your personality, you know?”
