Former Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said that he agreed that the voting age should be brought down to 18, however there needs to be proper planning to educate the young voters.
He said the youth needs more exposure and questioned what was the government's plan, especially through the education ministry, to educate these potential young voters on the responsibility of voting.
