Shah Alam MP Khalid Abdul Samad has written to Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia to protest the 'light' charge slapped against his attackers.
Khalid said eight individuals from the group who attacked him on parliament grounds were charged under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, which carries a fine of up to RM100.
