Former Selangor Menteri Besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said it would be better for someone with a better vision for Selangor to be given the opportunity to be BN's Selangor MB candidate.

He said this when asked whether he would like a second chance to be Selangor menteri besar in an interview with Malaysiakini this week.

“I’ve done enough already. I think the damage done is very bad, let it be someone who is more capable than I am.

“The question of whether it is the old guard or new blood does not arise… The people of Selangor will judge whether the person can lead or not,” he said.
