I know you’re probably thinking, ‘I already knew that,’ but you might want to hear what she had to say about them butt injections.
Ever since Kim K came on the scene, everyone has been wondering if her infamous derriere is real or fake and on Monday evening, the reality star set the record straight. Kim K’s behind is actually…drum roll please – real! And the butt injections she talked about on her Livestream were actually medication for her psoriasis.
The reality star opened up about her butt injections and recalled the time she went in for a shot and left with a huge indent on her booty. Kim K retold the tale to her fans and said, “I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt. I lived right behind Kitson [a boutique in Los Angeles near the Cedars-Sinai Hospital]. One of my neighbors was a dermatologist at Cedars. I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’ Of course I get a huge indent on my butt.”
The Kardashian beauty went on to explain that after that appointment, the butt implant rumors began. Kim even explained in detail where and what she was wearing when people started talking about her butt possibly being fake. The mother of two said QUOTE, ‘There’s a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another picture of me walking down Robertson. You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumors started: ‘She’s had implants.’ Every few years I get a cortisone shot. I just got one as my psoriasis was so bad in Vegas.”
Now that whole ‘is it real or fake’ debacle is over and settled, it’s on to the next one. On top of ending the rumors of her fake butt, Kim also felt the need to explain to people why she doesn’t label herself a feminist – even though she is all for everything that being a feminist stands for.
In a blog titled ‘Why I Don’t Label Myself a Feminist,’ Kim simply says she doesn’t like labels, period. The mother of two wrote, “For me, a feminist is someone who advocates for the civil and social rights and liberties of all people, regardless of their gender; anyone who believes that women should have the same choices and opportunities as men when it comes to education and employment, their bodies and their lifestyles. Of course I want these things! I’m all about empowering and uplifting women. Obviously there are things about me that people might say make me a feminist: I work hard, I make my own money, I’m comfortable and confident in my own skin, and I encourage women to be open and honest about their sexuality, and to embrace their beauty and their bodies.”
Kim goes on to ask why we as a society, have to put labels on things. She said, “I don’t need to be defined by [my] beliefs, just as much as I don’t want to be set apart from – or viewed as being against – those who DO define themselves by [their] beliefs.”
“…I feel that being grouped or labeled can create separation between people who do (or don’t) fall into certain categories, when they may actually share many of the same beliefs and goals. It’s not about he, she, gay, straight, black, white. The fight for equality is about ALL human beings being treated equally – regardless of gender, sexuality, or ethnicity. It’s simply a personal choice that I don’t like the idea of being labeled. I’ll always fight for women’s rights. Always. I support women to the fullest. But, at the end of the day, no one should feel pressured to be labeled as anything just because they believe in certain things and support certain values or ideals.” I hear her, but I don’t know if I agree that all labels are bad. The only reason Kim and I get to stand here today is because of the path paved by feminists before us. And in a world where the status quo is that males run the world- well, males and Beyonce- and most males in power want to keep it that way, then I think we NEED women to own their feminism instead of fighting for gender equality on the DL.
