Kim Kardashian CALLED OUT For New KKW Concealer Shade Range

Kim debuted a preview of KKW Beauty’s new concealers on instagram and Twitter that will be launched on her website next week. The promo features a diverse cast of models to showcase the 16 different shades. However upon the post going live, the internet was quick to point out that the majority of the shades are for lighter skinned women while the range of darker tones are slim pickings. People also pointed out that a dark skinned model was featured in the promo photo but that the concealer formulas don’t appear to feature a shade that could match people with her skin tone. However the model they are referring to spoke out saying that wasn’t the case. She left a comment on instagram saying QUOTE - "I can tell you that they did not chose me only to pretend; I had the make up on and It fits perfectly my skin color. I am not wearing any make up usually so I know when I have it on if it’s good or not and here it was the case, I even kept it on me and went to have dinner with a friend."
But her statement didn’t stop people from voicing their opinions on the. On Twitter someone wrote –“ 10 for white people, 2 for mixed race, and 4 for kind of black. Issa fail.” Another wrote – “Kim Kardashian literally has a daughter of color & is married to a black man and has the audacity to launch this BS shade range & put it on a model of color and HIDES the only 4 dark shades she’s launching?” They are referring to the photo that was posted where the model is showing off the swatches of the concealer on her arm, but the darker shades are barely visible due to positioning . Others came to Kim’s defense writing – “Y'all loved the tarte shape tape concealer and didn't have a problem with it's range. But y'all are big mad about the KKW concealers. Y'all just don't like the Kardashians.”
Personally I’m just happy Fenty made shades that I can wear.
