So if there’s one thing Kim K. knows how to do better than dress her little North West to the nines, it’s throwing the most epic 38th birthday bash for her hubby Kanye West.
The Kardashian-West clan spent the day at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday, to watch a basketball game, you know, nothing big, right? Well, lo and behold, the only ball game going on yesterday was a game between Kanye and all of his best buds… because did I mention that Kim rented out the entire arena for his birthday?
Yeah, so here’s how it all went down. Kim took to Instagram yesterday to share a pic of her and Kanye in the back seat of the car with a blindfold over his eyes, to not give away the surprise. The family arrived at Staples Center to an empty arena complete with a DJ (A-Trak to be exact), Laker Girls, his own announcer AND all of Kanye’s pals ready to ball, including Justin Bieber, NBA star John Wall and John Legend who also sang him happy birthday.
If that isn’t exclusive enough, Kim also had his own tickets made and jerseys to split teams up with the names ‘East vs. West.’ Some of Kanye’s biggest fans were also cheering him on, including his adoring wifey, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Khloe’s pal Malika Haqq, who all took to Instagram to share pics of his special day. Kim also wrote a super sweet love letter to Kanye on Instagram, saying how much Kanye inspires her and for making all of her dreams a reality with the not-so-subtle hashtag SWISH.
So petition to have Kim plan every birthday in the history of birthdays from now on! But for real, I want to know what you guys think about Kim going balls to the wall (and I mean basketballs here) all out for Kanye’s birthday, was it too over the top, or just what you expected?
