In an emotional press conference this afternoon, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia ARMADA chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman announce that he will be turning down a scholarship he received to pursue his Master's degree in Public Policy at the Oxford University, England, to remain in politics.
He then added that there was a reason for the press conference to be called at an Umno-linked hotel, alleging a conspiracy backed by unnamed party leaders out to weaken Bersatu by "threatening or bribing" its leaders.
Syed said the he was told that was offered RM5 million in cash among other perks for him to abandon PPBM.
