[KiniNews] Najib Abdul Razak's lead defence counsel has dismissed the allegation that the former prime minister received special treatment for his medical condition.

Muhammad Shafee Abdullah today described the claim as "bull****", stressing that the former finance minister was being treated like any other prisoner.

"So what is the special (treatment)? I do not understand. Nothing," Shafee told the media at the Kuala Lumpur Courts Complex during a break in Najib's RM2.28 billion 1MDB corruption trial.
