[KiniNews] The government will table the anti-hopping bill at another parliamentary sitting that will be called by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob soon.

This was revealed after a meeting between Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and members of the Joint Steering Committee on Transformation and Political Stability, better known in political circles as the "MOU committee".

Wan Junaidi and committee chairperson Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said both the government and Pakatan Harapan had also agreed to support a constitutional amendment bill that will be tabled on April 11 in the Dewan Rakyat.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has questioned if the delay in tabling the bill was due to sabotage.
