[KiniNews] Bersatu supreme council member Saifuddin Abdullah has dubbed the Inland Revenue Board's (IRB) recent raid on opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin’s house a "cheap political stunt" ahead of the upcoming six state elections.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has denied knowledge about the IRB raid on Hamzah's house.
In a separate story, human rights NGO Lawyers for Liberty (LFL) has slammed MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki over his attempt to “explain” the death of a man under the graft buster’s custody.
LFL director Zaid Malek said Azam has “no business” rushing to conclusions as the police have just begun investigating the matter.
