#KiniNews: Anwar's ex-aide sues Wan Fayhsal for RM10m; Ratu Naga sues MACC

[KiniNews] Farhash Wafa Salvador is seeking RM10 million in compensation from Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal over an allegation that the former Perak PKR chief tried to induce and threaten opposition lawmakers to support Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

The plaintiff, who used to be Anwar’s political secretary, filed the writ of summons at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Jan 22, seeking RM10 million in special damages.

Farhash claimed that Wan Fayhsal made the defamatory statement during a press conference at the sidelines of a parliamentary sitting on Nov 14 last year.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Bersatu’s Ratu Naga has gone to court to safeguard her fundamental right to be represented by lawyers during interrogation by MACC.

Her legal action against MACC and two other defendants is linked to her arrest by the anti-graft agency on Feb 16. She was released later the same day.
