[KiniNews] Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has announced a slew of relaxed Covid-19 measures today, including lifting the outdoor mask mandate, effective May 1.

However, the wearing of face masks is still required in indoor spaces.

Khairy also announced that checking in via MySejahtera before entering premises or public spaces is no longer required.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Malaysian Nagaenthran Dharmalingam was executed earlier this morning in Singapore, according to his family.

A last-ditch legal challenge by his mother failed yesterday in the high-profile case that had attracted international calls for clemency.

The 34-year-old had been on death row for more than a decade for trafficking 44g of heroin into Singapore.
