#KiniNews: 'Don't blame me' - Noh Omar responds to Amirudin's statement on flood response

[KiniNews] Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister Noh Omar today panned Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari for confusing between two committees under the National Security Council (NSC) Orders 1 and 20, which respectively handle security matters and disaster management.

"I was shocked to read menteri besar's statement claiming that he could not call the police and military for a meeting when the committee (under state secretary) already has security forces as its members," Noh said.

"No wonder the state disaster management went haywire, seeing that the menteri besar could not even understand the power that was given to the state," he added.

Noh called for the media conference today after Amirudin had said that he could not mobilise security agencies when the flood situation at several locations in Selangor worsened on Dec 18 as he did not chair the state NSC.
