#KiniNews: Dr M chooses ‘Malayness’ over multiracialism, ex-MACC top gun slams ‘brainless’ minister

[KiniNews] Dr Mahathir Mohamad has argued that promoting a multiracial Malaysia runs foul of the Federal Constitution.

In his latest social media posting, the former premier again raised an issue close to his heart - the perceived danger of DAP to the Malays and Islam.

Mahathir, who turns 98 this month, said he was merely voicing the contents of the constitution.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, a retired top anti-graft officer said Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing should have been arrested for obstructing a public servant from executing his duties.

Bahri Mohd Zin, who is a former director of MACC special operations division, said Tiong should have raised his suspicion about alleged graft involving Immigration Department officers with MACC instead of taking matters into his own hand.

"Such action by a brainless minister gives liability to the government itself.

"The prime minister should take action against the minister so the people will be confident that he does his job without fear or favour,” added Bahri.
