#KiniNews: I will not surrender, says Wan Fayhsal after suspension; 'Akmal hit wrong punching bag'

[KiniNews] Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal (PN-Machang) has been suspended from parliamentary duties for six months.

The Dewan Rakyat voted to suspend the Bersatu Youth chief today with 110 MPs in favour, 63 against, and three abstaining. Another 46 MPs were absent.

The decision came after Wan Fayhsal cited an anonymous letter during parliamentary debates on July 1, that purportedly maligns civil servants using unverified information.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, a PKR Youth leader has slammed Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh over the latter's continuous attack on Dewan Rakyat speaker Johari Abdul's decision on the six former Bersatu MPs.

According to PKR Youth communication director Haziq Azfar Ishak, Akmal has been hitting the 'wrong punching bag', when he should be directing his wrath toward Bersatu instead.
