[KiniNews] The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) will determine whether a logo, which appears on the sole of several of Vern's footwear models, is Arabic writing for the word "Allah" or just a graphic design of a shoe.

This is according to Inspector-General of Police Razarudin Husain, who told a press conference this morning that police are liaising with Jakim in its investigation into the latest religious controversy.

“Jakim’s report is crucial,” he said in Kuala Lumpur.
