[KiniNews] The MACC has asked the management of a condominium in Cyberjaya to turn in closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera recordings involving three cars - two of which are registered under Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar.
A source told Malaysiakini that this is to assist the anti-graft agency's investigations into migrant worker approvals, which have so far seen two of the minister's aides being detained.
"Three vehicles have become the focal point of investigations.
"The MACC has asked for CCTV recordings from March 6 to 7, 2023, as well as on April 7 and 8, 2023, showing the three vehicles - a Mercedes Benz, a Proton Perdana and a Mitsubishi Outlander," said the source.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has filed an application to quash the four abuse of power charges against him.
The applicant claimed that the four charges are “defective and bad in law” for lacking in particulars in contravention of Section 354 of the Criminal Procedure Code and thus violated his fundamental right to life and personal liberty under Article 5 of the Federal Constitution.
