[KiniNews] PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has reiterated calls for the Malays to unite, as the race is being openly conned (ditipu terang-terangan).
"The Malays are being toyed with and conned due to their own neglect and ignorance.
"They have become victims of the country's politics, and are being plagued by corruption, moral decay, and division among themselves," he said.
As such, Hadi urged the Malays to not let go of the remaining political power, due to their own conduct.
Meanwhile, in a separate story, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his predecessor Dr Mahathir Mohamad continue to trade barbs over the issue of assets despite a legal suit pending in court.
Mahathir asked Anwar to declare how much he was worth when he served as his deputy prime minister from 1993 to 1998, claiming the latter was among the “past leaders” accused of cronyism.
