[KiniNews] Warisan president Shafie Apdal has claimed that Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin called him two months ago to get his backing to become prime minister again.
According to Shafie, Muhyiddin had claimed that he already had the backing of 119 MPs and had discussed the matter with PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.
“I told him, Tan Sri, if you have enough support, please go ahead with your plan, I won’t follow you,” said Shafie.
Meanwhile, former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak said Muhyiddin should press the button if he really has the numbers to become prime minister.
