#KiniNews: Umno will not work with scheming parties- Zahid; Police record Dr M's statement

[KiniNews] Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said his party does not intend to revisit cooperation with scheming parties or leaders.

Zahid said cooperation should come out of sincerity and not from people with manipulative and crafty moves who are not welcome as they are full of tricks.

“Any leader and party that is very manipulative, I don’t think we should revisit that relationship,” he said when asked to comment on reports that PAS is still open to continuing the unification agenda with Umno.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, police have recorded former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s statement to assist in the investigation regarding disparaging remarks made against the royal institution as published by a news portal on June 6.

Statements were also taken from former Pejuang Federal Territory chairperson Khairuddin Abu Hassan and former Pejuang deputy president Marzuki Yahya.
