Umno Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh has defended his outburst against DAP vice-chairperson Teresa Kok during police questioning today over the halal certification issue.

According to the firebrand politician, he told investigating officers that his remarks were only a response to Kok's statement over the matter.
