Umno presidential candidate Khairy Jamaluddin said it is crucial for the newly-elected party president to give the elected representatives from Umno a confidence boost. He said they need to know that they can survive even though they are no longer in the government. The former Umno Youth chief said that he will remain in Umno if he loses in the party polls on June 30. He said this after taking part in a debate between the three presidential candidates on Friday night.
