Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) managing director Iskandar Mizal Mahmood said the decision was taken after an aerotrain broke down at about 3pm at KLIA yesterday, involving 114 passengers.
In the incident yesterday, an aerotrain stopped suddenly on the track, while another aerotrain that was supposed to retrieve the stranded passengers also experienced technical difficulties, forcing all 114 passengers to walk some 400m to the satellite terminal.
Video clips of the incident have been widely shared online.
