Kristen Stewart & Naomi Scott CONFIRMED For Charlie's Angels Reboot

It seems like every movie ever made has been getting the reboot treatment lately, but the Charlie’s Angels reboot is one we can’t WAIT to see, especially now that we know it’s gonna have a kick-ass cast of ladies.
Elizabeth Banks is directing the new Charlie’s Angels reboot, and she’s chosen Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska to star in the film. Charlie’s Angels was originally a TV show in the 70s, but it was turned into a feature film in 2000 starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Lui filling. That film was so successful that it was followed up with the sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, in 2003.
The specific details of the reboot’s plot are still unknown. But is it’s anything like the first one, there will be three badass private-investigators aka: the Angels, who work for a mysterious man named “Charlie”, who the Angels have never seen or met. If this reboot is going to be just as action packed, funny, and sexy as its predecessor, then we are in for an amazing ride.
As for the incredible cast, we all know Kristen Stewart from her work on the ‘Twilight’ series, but she’s also gained critical acclaim in the last few years for her roles in indies such as ‘Camp X-Ray’, ‘Personal Shopper’ and ‘Certain Women’. And Naomi Scott shot onto the scene with the ‘Power Rangers’ reboot last year, and is also set to star in Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ reboot. This woman is like the queen of reboots right now. But the real newcomer here is British actress Ella Balinska. Ella has appeared in British shows such as ‘Midsomer Murders’ and ‘Casualty’, but her role in Charlie’s Angels will be her biggest break to date.
Lupita NYong’o was previously rumored to have been in talks to star, but it sounds like if she does end up making an appearance in the movie, it won’t be as one of the three Angels.
Director Elizabeth Banks, who also helmed ‘Pitch Perfect 2’, said of her casting choices QUOTE, “‘Charlie’s Angels,’ for me, is one of the original brands to celebrate the empowered woman since its debut in the ’70s. This film honors the legacy of Charles Townsend and his agency while introducing a new era of modern and global Angels. I couldn’t be more excited to work with Kristen, Naomi and Ella to bring this chapter to fans around the world.”
