Umno veteran and Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has lauded Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali’s intention to review the New Economic Policy (NEP) to ensure that the policy follows the change of times. So far, former premier Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has been vocal about the issue saying that it should not be changed for the sake of changing. In the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday, Azmin said the NEP will be reviewed and based on needs and not race.
