Behold a small fishing village just 72km north west of Ipoh! This is the sanctuary of Kuala Sepetang , famous for its firefly riverbanks, bird sanctuary and charcoal factories. This sleepy hollow is still a fishing village with its fish breeding ponds and bays right at the mouth of the rivers and swamps. Back in the centre of this town is a place where time forgot! Old style shops , lots of bicycle and motorbikes. Life is slow and steady. It’s essentially a small community. This video spotted the town’s “food bicycle”, a very early version of the food trucks in the city. Right at the town’s market corner, this old rickety bicycle serves one of the best nasi lemak you can find. The seller is a mother and son team. Check out servings are on the tabletop bicycle for you to select. From nuggets, fried or stewed egg , prawns ,string bean and more. Take your pick and take home a special serving that is hard to beat. His sambal is out of this world! If you ever end up in Kuala Sepetang, find this food bicycle beside the market and you won’t regret it!
