Kylie Jenner DODGES Lawsuit By Crediting Makeup Artist in Photos?

As successful as Kylie Cosmetics has been, the company’s namesake ran into a couple of bumps in the road – but it was nothing a little Instagram shout out couldn’t fix.
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but Vlada Haggerty didn’t feel so flattered when Kylizzle seemingly ripped off some of her photos to promote Kylie Cosmetics. Back in November, Vlada threated to take legal action against the Lip Kit Kween for copying her work, but from the looks of Kylie’s recent Instagram posts, it seems as if all of that drama has been put behind them.
According to TMZ, after Kylie’s legal team caught wind of the threat, they resolved the matter and as of this past Friday, the beauty mogul has been giving credit where credit is due. Kylie shared a four panel photo of a pair of lips dripping with a rose gold lippy and wrote QUOTE, “This really is everything. Check out the wonderful makeup art of @vladamua!”
A few days later, Kylie shared another inspirational makeup post from Vladma and photographer Julia Kuzmenko, who reposted the same photo and wrote QUOTE, “We are very happy to share that the issue has been resolved. Thanks so much to every single one of you creative souls who supported us, we truly appreciate you.”
Thankfully neither party had to go through a nasty legal battle.
