Snapchat has put all speculations to rest after a rumor began to circulate that Snapchat paid Kylie Jenner to post a video of baby Stormi to redeem themselves after their shares plummeted following the apps redesign.
Did Kylie get paid to post that video of Stormi on Snapchat?
Following Snapchat’s redesign, many people were not happy with it including Kylie who is known for using the app regularly, but after the unpopular changes Kylie tweeted - "Sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad."
And because the influence power of Kylie Jenner is incredibly strong, following Kylie’s tweet, The Mirror reported that shares of the Snapchat parent company sank 6.1 percent that lead to a wipe out of 1.3 billion dollars in market value. In other words Snapchat was wounded.
So because of the position Kylie took on Twitter, fans were surprised when she recently revealed baby Stormi on the app with one of their signature filters. Kylie also showed off her post baby bod on the app so people started to wonder where the change of heart came from. Perez Hilton tweeted - Sources tell me Snapchat PAID Kylie Jenner to post this first clear photo of her daughter's face on their app! Smart of both of them!"
However sources have reported that Snapchat QUOTE - “has since denied paying Kylie to Mirror Online.” It’s very likely that just because Kylie isn’t a fan of the redesign doesn’t mean she’s going to stop using it. But it wouldn’t be a bad business decision to opt for the payout. What do you guys think?
