Kylie Jenner's Beauty Empire Could Be Worth HOW Much?

It’s been 18 months since Kylie’s first lip kit went on sale and Kylie Cosmetics has already raked in $420 million dollars in retail sales. The beauty mogul brought in $10 million dollars in just one day last week when she launched the Birthday Collection. The Holiday Collection, which dropped on November 21st of last year, made Jenner’s company $18.9 million in ONE DAY!
These numbers are NUTS! Just to prove that they’re for real, Kylie and Kris Jenner provided documentation when they sat down with Women’s Wear Daily to speak about the company’s success.
Business growth like this is something that hasn’t been seen in the beauty world before. Kylie Cosmetics is on track to be a billion dollar brand in just five years. Other hugely successful lines like Bobbi Brown and Lancome took DECADES to reach these kinds of numbers.
The Life of Kylie star started out with lip kits that would sell out in minutes and has expanded her beauty line to include highlighters, blushes, and shadows. Her next step is developing concealers and foundation.
She told Women’s Wear Daily QUOTE, “"I want to step into that world, which is challenging…It's going to be hard to buy concealer online. That's why I kept pushing it back…[But] I'm up for it.”
It is hard to find the perfect skin tone match before playing with it fist in person, like I like to do so often at Sephora…SO maybe that’s why Kylie is thinking about creating her own Kylie Cosmetics stores! She said QUOTE, "I don't know how we're going to do it. I think it's time people walk into a store and see Kylie Cosmetics… I do want that but we haven't figured out exactly how we're going to do that and what approach were going to take.”
I personally would love to run to the mall to pick up some Kylie products. I’m very impatient waiting for them to come in the mail! Plus, this would prevent having setting that alarm so that you get your Kylie makeup before it sells out. Kylie fans, you KNOW you do this. Don’t deny it.
