HD video tour of a Standard Twin Room at the Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel in Vientiane, Laos. Filmed on 21 January 2013, this video shows you what a Standard room is like. What it does not show you, is that the hotel is (at press time) not really finished, it has opened mainly to accommodate media delegates attending the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2013 (ATF) taking place 21-24 January 2013, and is likely to close once they leave. It is also believed that what has been used as the temporary lobby at the back of the hotel will move and an open air style lobby - similar to resorts in Phuket, Thailand - will open in its place. Once the hotel is complete, it will have a completely different ambiance to what it does today, but at least you can see what the rooms are like. One thing I should mention, the sunsets are truly amazing here as the sun sets opposite the hotel on the Thailand-side of the Mekong.
