Laura Marano to Star in "Bad Hair Day" Disney Channel Original Movie

The Disney Channel has just lined up their next original movie, and it's starring our girl Laura Marano.
Yes, the Austin and Ally star will take the lead role in the upcoming DCOM "Bad Hair Day," and we could NOT be more thrilled over this exciting news! Filming for the flick gets underway TODAY, but sadly, we won't get to watch it until 2015.
If you're curious as to what the movie is about, it centers on a high school tech wiz -- played by Laura --who is DETERMINED to become prom queen. However, her perfect prom is derailed when she wakes up having a bad hair day and from there on out, everything that could go wrong goes HORRIBLY wrong over the course of her day. Yes, this even includes a prom drses mishap. THE HORROR!
Also joining Laura in the movie is Good Luck Charlie Leigh-Allyn Baker who will play a cop tracing down a missing necklace that Laura's character somehow ends up with. We're going to go ahead and assume that a LOT of chaos will ensue.
No word yet on an exact release date, but we'll obviously keep you posted!
