So in case you were still wondering 2 years post-breakup, there is absolutely NO bad blood between the former lovers, according to Liam…. PHEW.
It’s been two years and even a few attempted relationships since Miley and Liam broke off their five-year-long courtship, but in a revealing interview with Men’s Fitness, as Liam looks back on their time together, he admits he has nothing but love for her.
He revealed QUOTE, "You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I mean, look—we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change. And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling."
He also recalls what a significant time of his life the relationship was, saying, "It really was an important part of my life and always will be. She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."
Well ain’t that the truth. And you’d think that an eligible Aussie hunk like Liam would have no trouble finding a mate, however he opened up to the mag about the reality of dating, saying that it is “really difficult,” mostly because of his demanding career, saying, “I'm constantly traveling, and I don't go out to clubs or anything like that. I have a great small group of friends in my life, but I barely ever meet anyone new. It's tough to have a relationship in this industry, though not to the point where it makes me depressed. I'm constantly working, and I love working."
He explains how he doesn’t feel like he’s missing out on anything at the moment and concluded the interview saying, “I feel like I'm focusing on the right things and prioritizing things in the right way, and I'm a healthy, happy person."
And if Liam’s happy, WE are happy, but then again just looking at him can make anyone fall into a state of a pure euphoric fantasy.
