Liam Payne Plans To RECONNECT With Zayn?

Does Liam Payne want to patch things up with Zayn? Find out what Liam just said about a possible reunion with his former bandmate...
Liam has One Directioners on the edge of their seats after suggesting he’d be down to clear the air with Zayn, and soon.
It all started on January 12th, when Liam gave Zayn a Happy Birthday shoutout on Twitter. He wrote QUOTE, “Happy Birthday, Bro” followed by a fist bump emoji. Liam was the ONLY One Direction member to do so, and fans were more than ecstatic that Liam took the time to make the thoughtful gesture.
So that was our FIRST indication that Liam might be ready to bury the hatchet with Zayn, and now we’ve just found out that it might actually happen sooner than we think. The BRIT awards take place next month, and both Liam and Zayn are nominated for awards. Liam is nominated for British Single and Video of the Year for “Strip That Down”, meanwhile Zayn is also nominated in the Video category, for his collab with Taylor Swift on “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”.
Liam was asked by Daily Star Sunday newspaper if he plans to catch up with Zayn at the show, to which he replied QUOTE, "If he's there and wants to hang with me, then sure."
Okay so it’s not as enthusiastic an answer as we’d like it to be, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. And surely both guys know that nothing would make their fans happier than to see them reconcile, so let’s hope they can reconnect and remember the good ol’ days. That’s what after parties are for anyway, right?!
Of course, Liam wouldn’t be the first of the One Direction guys to reconnect with Zayn. Louis has previously said that he “cleared the air” with Zayn, after his mum suggested he do so before she tragically lost her battle with cancer. He said of the reconciliation QUOTE, "We got back in touch with each other and kind of cleared the air and talked everything through. So we're mates again, I suppose. Like anything like that, it takes time. But it was nice that we had an opportunity to clear the air and be adults about it, I suppose."
Okay guys, if Liam follows in Louis’s footsteps, that means we are THAT much closer to an epic One Direction reunion tour happening at some point in the future. Yes, I’m still holding out hope for that because if the Spice Girls can do it, so can our 1D boys.
