Remember when Liam Payne was teasing us with some new music featuring Juicy J?? It seems like forever ago, but they just hit us with the brand new track.
On Wednesday Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa dropped a new track called “You” featuring the former One Direction singer.
Yes, the time has come… Liam Payne is officially featured as a solo artist on the new track, and before we get into it, take a listen for yourself.
Juicy starts the track speaking directly to Liam saying What’s up man??? It’s time bro. They’ve been waiting on this collab…” Ummm, Yes, yes we have, I had assumed that it had gotten lost in the recording studio or scrapped all together.
Moving on, they dedicated the song to all the chicks on Snapchat, we then got a strange interjection from Adele’s song Hello, FOLLOWED by Wiz getting into it… Staying on brand, singing: “All I need is a big bag of weed/ And you by my side, girl…” Well, it did come out yesterday, so it’s safe to say he was celebrating 4/20.
The rappers verses get broken up by Liams overly autotuned hook singing “All I need is you/ Said anything you want, anything you want girl.” Not too off brand for him, however it’s different to see him navigate some hip hop with Juicy and Wiz…
Judging by this I’m not sure what we can expect when he starts to drop music of his own, but I do want to know what all of you are thinking about the new song???
