Liow: Let’s carry on ECRL project for the sake of locals

MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai urged the Government to carry on with the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project because it is vital for the development of the east coast. The former transport minister said although the cost of tunnelling is a little high, the locals will benefit economically from the construction of the proposed Bentong station. He added that the suspension of the project had also caused a training programme for the workers involved in the project to be suspended.
