AirAsia will offer new fixed fares flights from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru to several locations in Sabah and Sarawak.
Flights to Kuching, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu will cost RM199 while flights to Kota Kinabalu and Tawau will cost RM249.
These are valid for selected flights only and during the Jan 17 to Jan 30 period.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke, in launching the promotion at AirAsia's RedQ head office today, said it was a part of his election promise to East Malaysians - to provide cheaper airfares if he helms the ministry once again.
