Loke: Sorry, no more ‘JPJ discounts’ for offenders

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will no longer give any discounts to road users, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

According to Loke, this was a policy he initiated when he was first appointed as Minister of Transport back in 2018.

He added that the cancellation of more than four million summonses involving the Automated Enforcement System (AES) was previously given on a one-off basis, which has reduced the government's revenue by RM600 million.
